The National Registration Department (NRD), the local authority that administers the motor vehicles, traffic and maritime departments, has been publishing notices about the expiry of license plates in its official website, www.nrdd.gov.ae.
The notices are put up
in both Arabic and English to give the owners of such plates sufficient time to
renew their registration. The owners of the plates have up to the 15th of June
2018, to renew their registration before the plates expire.
The owners will be able to renew their registration by either visiting their nearest center or visiting one of the drivers' licenses centers in Dubai. The license holders can also renew their registration online.

Drivers will be asked to present the current certificate of registration and also the old copy of the document with the photo of the driver in front of the center. done, the center will return the plates and the drivers will be given a new
