This Manitoba practice test is designed to prepare you for the official Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI) quiz and covers a number of basic questions on Manitoba road rules. This Manitoba test is based on the information from the official Driver's Handbook, so you are likely to come across these or questions when you take the real test.

Applications are now being accepted for the Manitoba Public Insurance Driving Practice Test. The MPI Driving Practice Test is designed to help customers gauge their abilities to safely drive a motor vehicle and will help them to complete their Personal Identification Number.

"Having the opportunity to participate in the Driving Practice Test gives customers a leg up as they progress toward obtaining their P.I.N.," says Harold DeWolfe, Vice President, Business Development, Manitoba Public Insurance. "We want to ensure that our customers feel confident behind the wheel of their new vehicle, and that they are prepared to take full advantage of their P.I.N." 

The test is divided into three modules and is only completed once for the $21 cost. Customers may resubmit the test in one module at any time during the year.

The MPI Driving Practice Test comprises questions on sight and road signs, directional and time signal signals, and all aspects of driving, such as stopping distances, control and emergency braking, driving through a corner, and all aspects of emergency situations. The test is a minimum of 45 questions and the last question will only be asked if there are questions left over. If there is one question left on any module, overall driving. 

As of May 7, 2018, the cost to register will be $40.

In addition to the Driving Practice Test, customers may also register their new vehicle for P.I.N. use at www.manitobapublicinsurance.ca/newvehicle.
