In 2024, the dates for CAIP disbursements will be aligned with fiscal quarters, with marginal variations based on provincial regulations. The Carbon Tax Refund, right, usually comes around the 15th day of April, July, October and January every year. But if the 15th is a weekend or federal statutory holiday, then the money is dispatched on the business day just before the 15th; residents of Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, and Saskatchewan will receive payments in these aforementioned months.

However! The federal fuel charge only applied to Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island beginning July 1, 2023! CAIP Eligibility Norms
